Store-Vahre Sword

Based on a find in the Store-Vahre area of Norway, this sword has solid silver pommel and guard inlaid with gold panels and wire.

The grip on this example is silver wound wire with collars

The Blade is a pattern welded interupted twist pattern with a 450 layer edge.

Scabbard and belts have silver fittings, scabbard is poplar wood lined with wool and covered with calfskin.

Grip materials, blade materials and leather colours can be customised.
