7th Century Migration Sword.

The ring hilt is thought to symbolise the ‘oath’ between a king and his warriors.heavily carved and gilded bronze,with silver inlaid and blackened iron in the guard and pommel bands.enamelled pommel on one side.

Pattern welded typical blade with rounded tip. The sword comes with the deatield and gilded scabbard and belts.
